Fasteners that can live in salt. A desk that stays in Wimborne.

Allfix Marine Limited is a private marine-fastener house at Unit 16, Cobham Business Centre. We sell A4 stainless, silicon bronze and the rest of the locker by list and parcel. The filing is other retail sale not in stores, stalls or markets. If you need a chandlery aisle to wander, this is the wrong harbour.

01 — Harbour

A marine house named for the fix, not for a flag on a pontoon.

The company was incorporated on 10 March 2023. The registered office is Unit 16, Cobham Business Centre, 29–31 Cobham Road, Ferndown Industrial Estate, Wimborne BH21 7BX. Our filed activity is other retail sale not in stores, stalls or markets. In ordinary English: the marine locker is sold by note, account and parcel. Cobham Road is an industrial estate, not a marina shopfront.

Allfix is a fastener word. Marine is the water the metal has to survive. Together they mean we will not send a bright zinc woodscrew to a transom and call it a day. If the list says A4, the bag says A4. If the yard is unsure, write to info@allfix-marine.online before the boat is already open.

Poole Harbour, Christchurch, Lymington and the yards that still work wood and glass sit a short drive south and east. Ferndown is inland enough for a van and a rack. That is not a romance. It is why the unit exists.

02 — Locker

Filter by what you are actually fastening.

A marine locker is not a DIY tray with a picture of a yacht. Choose the job. The pins change. Stock is whatever the current list can honestly bag from Ferndown.

Hull work beside the water

Hull screws

Machine and self-tappers in grades that belong below the waterline when the drawing says so. Length, thread and head first. “Boat screws” is not a specification.

Open water beyond a working coast

Deck furniture bolts

Through-bolts, backing plates, the hardware that keeps a cleat honest in a Channel chop. We will ask what the deck is made of.

Open sea under a working sky

Shackles & pins

The small steel that still has to be the right steel. If it is decorative, say so. If it holds a load, say the load.

Coastal water that punishes the wrong clip

Hose clips

A4 worm-drive and the wider bands for wet exhaust and raw-water lines. A kitchen clip from a mixed tray is how a bilge starts a story.

A south-coast shore

Pontoon & yard

Fixings for timber, steel and the ugly useful jobs that keep a walkway on its piles. Marine grade still matters when the tide comes in twice a day.

Calm water that still needs the right metal

Rail & stanchion

Bolts and set-screws for the furniture people lean on. If it is painted mild steel pretending to be stainless, we will say so when we can see it.

03 — Metal

The grade is the product. The thread is the rest.

A4 / 316

The default for salt that actually sits on the work. Not a personality. A chromium-nickel-molybdenum stainless that still needs the right thread and a washer that matches. We will not call every bright bolt A4 because the bag was silver.

A2 / 304

Fine inland, in a locker that never sees spray, in a cabin fitting that stays dry. Poor manners on a transom. If your last bag said stainless and then stained, it was probably this, or worse.

Silicon bronze

Wood, traditional hulls, the yards that still believe in a metal that behaves with oak. Not a fashion finish. If you want bronze because a magazine liked the colour, say so. If you want it because the plank is wet, also say so.

Brass

Cabin hardware and the jobs that never take a tide. Brass in a bilge is a short story. We stock it for the rooms that stay rooms.

04 — Coast

The water is south of the estate. Click a harbour.

Poole

The nearest serious water. Harbour yards, drying moorings, and the jobs that rust a cheap clip before Easter. Write the boat, the grade and the thread. Collection from Cobham Road is by note, not by wandering in with a wet bag of mixed steel.

05 — How a non-store locker sells

Measure. Name the metal. Bag it. Send it.

  1. Write the thread

Metric, UNC, BA if the boat is that old. Diameter, length, head. A photograph of the old one helps. “The shiny ones” does not.

  2. Name the grade

A4, A2, bronze, brass. If you do not know, say where it lives: bilge, deck, cabin, pontoon. We will not invent a tide for a dry locker.

  3. Bag from BH21

Ferndown packs what it can see. If a line is in Poole instead, we will say so. The marine company is not a pretend warehouse in another county.

  4. Send or hold

Parcel is the default because the activity we filed is not a stall. Hold for collection only when we have given you a time at Unit 16.

06 — Log from Cobham Road

Notes we keep so the next bag is not a guess.

Three years of a marine locker

The Ltd is three this week. We have not opened a pontoon kiosk. The filing still says sale without a store, stall or market. That is still the work.

Winter is when the cheap steel shows

Owners discover the stain in March. The clip failed in November. Write the grade now if the boat is coming out.

A mixed tray is not a specification

If the last yard handed you a margarine tub of “stainless”, do not send us the tub and a hope. Pick one bolt. Measure it. We will match that, not the mythology.

Bronze is not brass with a tan

Silicon bronze and brass are different metals with different manners in wet wood. We will not substitute to finish a bag.

The estate is not a marina

Cobham Road has units, vans and a clock. It does not have visitor pontoons. Wear boots if you collect. Do not expect a tide table on the door.

Incorporation

Company number 14721547. A fastener house with marine in the name, filed from Ferndown, aimed at water that actually salts the work.

07 — Before you write

Questions from the locker.

Only if we have already given you a time. It is a registered office on an industrial estate. The filed activity is not a browse. Write to info@allfix-marine.online.

The company is the marine locker: grades and patterns that belong on boats, pontoons and coastal work. If you need a general trade tray, say so. We will tell you whether this Ltd is the right bag.

Grade, thread, length, quantity, and where the metal will live. Photographs of the old fastener help. Send it to info@allfix-marine.online.

If you can measure it, yes. If you only know it was “the shiny one from the yard”, we will send a question, not a guess.

08 — Desk

Send the list. Ferndown will bag what it can see.

Replies leave from info@allfix-marine.online. Put the postcode the parcel must reach, and whether the metal will sit in salt.
